Nice looking guitar, I'd like to hear it as well. I've never played a a Dobro, nor seen a resonator up close. How does it work to amplify the sound?

There is a metal cone underneath the dome to amplify the sound. That particular model has only one cone. Some acoustic metal bodies with tri cones have 3. Their sound can be an aquired taste. The wood body dobros tend to have a smoother tone and are very popular in blue grass and country. I have a 1921 Dobro which is very loud.

This is a 2000 Dobro by Gibson, The Dobrolectric Thin LINE Vintage Burst,
this guitar was discontinued after 3 years of production, 1997 to 2000

Practice enough and maybe you'll, uh..."make out" like Eric Sardinas here -- my all-time favorite Texas delta bluesman. The guy's totally unreal...
