hello friends my name is jimmy i am 32, i live in yakima wa, im an ironworker out of seattle local 86, ive played guitar on and off since i was 16, i cut the end of my index finger off down to the first knuckle on my fret hand when i was 21 so i havent played in 10 years . i recieved a strat for x mas this year and decided to get back into it,
so i joined a web site , by the name of whole note , and saw a clip of the guy who runs this site playing a red strat , and i was blown away , then i found out about his site here and just joined today , so here i am lol and glad to be here .i am married 12 years have two kids 11 year old son 3 year old daughter , i like to drink a few beers and play guitar , i work hard and love my family , i try to play at least 1 hr a day but it usually ends up being 3 lol

Welcome Jimmy. Kirks style is perfect for anyone with missing digits. He loves playing part chords and double stops. Something you don't need a full barre to do. You should think about learning slide too. It's a blast and cuts way down on index finger playing.

oh man thanks , thats the whole reason i am feeling the passion because i got a red strat and then i saw that wow lol, i always say i you dont feel what u do why do it? and let me tell ya i felt that performance thx again
