Greetings From Ireland!

Hi all,
First post here, so best say hello first and foremost.
I'm based in Dublin, Irealnd and while I'm not a beginner (playing nearly 20 years - how did they go so quick?) I find this a good useful site.

THanks to all for the welcome.
As for what type of music I like, I guess my preference is for rock & metal, but I like folk stuff too, even a bit of country. The last few years I've been playing folky stuff a lot more than rocking it out, probably an age thing!
Really cant stand pop/dance stuff (chart music I guess), and could never get into Jazz, though I can appreciate the skill of the musicians involved.

Currently playing most weekends in a local pub, doing lots of Neil Young, Finn Brothers/crowded house, Beatles, Dylan, with lots of other bits and pieces thrown in. Nobody really listens but it beats playing guitar in the bedroom and its an opportunity to sing out loud without annoying the missus!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
