hello everyone

Hi everyone. I just stumbled upon this site. I have had an acoustic guitar for a couple of years, and always thought that I would just try to teach myself how to play. Well, easier said than done. It has collected a lot of dust over the last couple years. I would pick it up occasionally and try to play without having any type of instruction. I have searched the web looking for info and came across a couple of tab sites, which I tried to use. But usually ended up being frustrated and confused. I have wasted money on a couple of other "learn to play" internet lessons. Like I said before I stumbled upon this site last night and am proud to say that I actually learned how to play silent night (the easy version) in about an hour. I'm sure its probably nothing to you guys, but I think its a great start for me, I actually have some confidence again that I might actually be able to do this! I just wanted to let all the moderators know that this is by far the most helpful and informative site that I have found. Well, I could go on and on, but I have a lot of surfing to do on this site. So glad that I found this site, Thanks everyone!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
