Looking for inspiration

I took some guitar lessons about five years ago and still only know the four or five songs I learnt back then. I hope I will get some inspiration from this forum to improve my skills and repertoire.

Cheers
wiseg

I'm pretty new to guitar and just surfing through this site i already know as much about techniques, styles, and progressions as my friend whos played for 3 years. I think you've hit the right place to get some inspiration.

haha. Well if you're looking to broaden your library you should surf through the Lessons pages on this site. Kirk posts lessons frequently with MP3 video clip of how to play it and tablature to teach you how. I've already printed off about 10 songs and lessons and learned about 3.(give or take a few measures of the third song) lol. It's a good place to start.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
