Hi,blueslife. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. China is starting to turn out some pretty good quality guitars, though you have to know what to look for. You may be able to pick up some nice stuff.

Speaking of Asian players I was at a Vietnamese wedding the other day and had the opportunity to see the uncle of the bride perform on an nylon. It was really impressive. Another interesting thing I did realize that they are musically very talented. Everyone knew how to sing and they were performing individually on the podium. Completely different experience for me.
So blueslife welcome to the forum, and if you know even some more experienced players do send them this way...

Yeah! You are right. I got a good guitar with 800RMB. It has good quality solid wood but not side and back. Also China is about to accept new things like music, a lot of people started to listen to some new music styles. I think that's why I choose to play fingerstyle.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
