Hi New Here due to son

Hi

Title says it all really - encouraged my son to pick up a guitar - about a year ago - he now has 4!!

I tried a few times but did not have a left handed guitar so failed regularly - but my son has just got me a left handed one for Xmas (gave it to me early)

So now trying to learn some easy to play tunes - any help gratefully recieved

Either links or tips - as got a DVD - but almost need to read music to play !!!!!!!!!!!

Seeking simple cord X Y Z (which are these strings / fingers) and go!!!

Hope not asking for too much
