New to the forum
Hello all,
First post on this forum. I have been playing guitar for about 40 of my 54 years and you'd think I'd be an accomplished player by now but I'm not. I play most fingerstyle ballads and hymns now (instrumentals - can't sing!!), having spent many years playing classic rock. I own a '87 American Standard Strat; '89 Epiphone Sheraton II; and '95 Les Paul for electrics and a '80 Yamaha steel string and '95 Alvarez nylon electric acoustic. I have converted an extra bedroom into my music room (see attached pic) and have fun recording via PC & Guitar Tracks Pro (v3). I have an inexpensive assortment of mics, outboard effects gear, mixer, etc., which I really enjoy. I'm sure this forum will be a valuable source of learning material.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
