im not realy going to for super cheap ones more like 150-250. well, a good beginner guitar that will also motivate me to do well. i will play more of the romantic themes, and also sometimes a bit of upbeat to lift up my mood when im down.

also is this one any good?
fender starcaster 6. i think it comes with steel string which i perfer nylon for now.

compared to the yamaha deluxe package?

Tanglewood and Oscar Schmitt acoustics are in your price range. For electrics. Agiles from Rondo are a good bang for the buck. You can return it if it has flaws till you get a good one. Squire51s can be good, but you have to know what your doing to find a good one. I wouldn't mind picking this one up myself, but may not be to your taste. A good bang for the buck at 2oo bucks.

Course with electrics there is the additional expense of an amp to factor in.

Get a garrison. There just as good as a Gipson or a Martin, but its cheeper, and the only reason its cheeper because its not a "Martin" or a "Gipson" if you know what I mean.
