a very very beginner! from Indy

Hello i am a 36 yr old man that has always wanted to play the guitar. i just want to sit around the house and play to relax. so here i am giving it a shot. i received my grandfathers guitar when he passed away last year. I remember as a kid my grandpa playing his guitarand singing. very good memories. so i hope i can get this down so i can play. my oldest son plays the violin. and my other three kids are young but i want them to pick out something to play. thank you for having this site for people to learn.

Made in Korea. 100-150 bucks. Don't be put off by the lone review. I ran across a 1/2 doz. players looking for more info on them and they love theirs. Get a good setup with a new nut and some good strings and you are good to go. Sometimes old axes with a lot of history have some nice mojo going for them. Enjoy yours ad the memories that go with it. It is a Gibson clone BTW

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
