Hi all. I wish I could live up to half the things Kirk has said about me in his intro. I have been noodling with a guitar on and off for about 30 years. In another post of mine you may have read that I have a learning disability. It means that I have to work very hard to get anywhere with playing so I have been through all the beginning stages of learning how to play and am right there in the trenches with you. An advantage I have is that I know a lot of musicians whom I can use as a resource. Basic questions,I can answer, for the tricky stuff Nelsonic and Kirk are the go to guys.
I check in here 3 or 4 times a day so I am always around to chat and be the cheering section for anybody that needs it.
I must congratulate the members here for creating the most civil forum I have ever been involved with. I don't expect to work too hard policing this forum.
I believe this is the best fingerpicking site on the net and Kirks' Plane Talk material to be the best practical insight into guitar musicality I have ever seen. It is a pleasure to be involved with both endeavors.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
