hey people im jst startin 2 learn guitar 2day
was jst wonderin how long did it take u? and i would be greatful if any1 could give me any suggestions 2 help me as i start this task as i will be teachin myself thanx

Hello Nickelly. Welcome aboard and enjoy. As far as how long it takes to learn the guitar, my take on it is that it is a never ending effort. I've been playing for over fifty years and I feel as though I am about half way to the skill level I aspire to. Enjoy the journey,be patient with yourself, and don't ever give up is my advice.
