Hello everyone at PT!

My name is Dan and I live in South OC, California.
I bought Plane Talk last summer, then the DVD, then Slide Guitar In Standard and Drop D Tuning. ( I guess you could say I went whole-hog!)
I loved Kirk's laid-back, relaxed style in teaching and got totally hooked.

Still trying to get a handle on things......all shapes in all keys etc.

This forum is the BEST for help and friendships!

Cheers to all my new friends!

Welcome Sunnydaze, I am glad you like the PT material, I believe it is the best... but that is just me and everybody else that owns it...

Just to let you know this is not the official PT forum, there is another forum specifically for the PT method. http://www.thatllteachyou.com/board/ Here is the link

G'day sunnydaze, welcome aboard....
PlaneTalk is definately an ingenious peice of work... And as said a hundred times before, Kirks teaching method works. Even for people like me, that dont learn things easily

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
