'K y'all, guess I'll do this intro thing with you, maybe I can get rid of this cheery welcome banner thats draggin' on my backside every where I go here, lol.
Used to play a lot of electric a way back when, you know, before real life set in like. I've been back on it now for the better part of a lazy year, just getting the fingers back and remembering the fret board more or less. Used to know a ton of tunes, so I still seem to more or less remember about 30 or so, krokus, scorpions, stevie ray, and of course ac\dc, stuff like that. What I want to do is become more technical, and of course play with some of the new electronics (read toys
) out there.
Right now I am banging away mostly on a jackson charvel, little bit on an old gretsch laying around here, it's got some good retro onboards, nice unique sound, and another older fender I have to fix the electronics on (someday). Playing through a marshall mostly, though using a fender amp can just for outdoor etc. Nice piece of equiptment for anyone who wants to play electric without packing a ton of weight.
Anyway, this is starting to become a biography.
