Hi,
I just joined guitar for beginners today. (this is my introduction post) I hope I'm doing it correctly.
I'm new to guitar and just started with trying to learn lessons from "The Fender's Getting Started Guitar book" the past few days. I'm having a heck of a time remembering the fingering, strings and names of the notes and their location, but I'm sure I'll get it eventually.
Does anyone else have this problem? When you think you've got it down finally, then move on to the next lessons/strings/notes a couple of notes pop up that you've just memorized..or so ya thought...only to realize they're forgotten again? Is there a trick to remembering them better, or does it just come naturally after practicing a lot?
I hope to be playing like that someday.
