Hey all

Just dropping in to say hi. I've been playing around with the guitar for about a 2 years now. Just starting to realize what I can and can't do. Mostly just want to learn good campfire and get together with the buds type of stuff and have lots of fun. I'm over 50 so becoming Eddie Van Halen is out of the question. Found this site by accident and love what I've seen so far. If anyone is from around the Newmarket Ont area and would like to get together to play, drop me a line.
Take care
Dee

Hi there Dee, just give it some time and you'll be surprised at how much you can actually do.

Hi Dee. I see a lot of Neil Young in your future. Campfire classics.

Thanks everyone. Im finding the site to be quite a help so far. I've been reading quite few posts and have found many good practice articles which I have started to use. I think it'll really come in as an asset.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
