Good-Hello
just thought i'd join a forum or two lately. been really concentrating on learning more skills as a player. i'm self-taught which means i'm now correcting many mistakenly learned bad habits. i've been "playing with" the guitar for nearly 18 yrs yet only this last year have i grouped with others to create a sound...kinda like a band would, eh?
this past month i sat in with pros at an open mike and learned so much-- especially how deficient my skills are. sure, i've been around music my whole life and recognize quality sounds yet i desire to gain crafty skills... so , i'm combing cyberspace for lessons and tips and really hunkering down daily with a routine for practice.
i look forward to "meeting" folks here and sharing ideas.
ciao for now
~~st jo~~

How do you end up with 1 million dollars playing jazz? start with 2 million.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
