a beginners journey

hello...

so this is my second attempt to try and learn the accoustic guitar and this time i really hope to go forward and not get stuck on the first 5 basic chords that i learned back in 2002, after so many years of leaving my guitar somewhere in my basement i have decided to clean it up, buy new strings, tune it up and this time i went out and got a tuner, and lots of picks

so wish me good luck and thanks to everyone who dedicate so much time to this forum it really is a great place for both beginners and others who love the art of playing the guitar!

Welcome. If you have the 5 basic chords down then you are ready to apply them to barr chord. Don't start with the F chord though, it's a toughie.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
