Smile New guy in town

Listening to kick ass guitar playing by Coldplay and Dashboard Confessionals I knew I wanted to recreate those tunes myself. So I finally go my own guitar, its a Takamine called "Jasmine", I dont know much about it. Is it a good brand or bad, I have no idea. I do have some instrumental experience playing the Clarinet for 5 years. Hopefully this site will get me started and hopefully meet people that will help me along the way.

nothing wrong with a Taki. Make sure it is set up right. Ie, string hight etc and your good to go.

Takamine guitars usually have a nice sound to them, so you should be pretty good to go with it.


Guitar: 1) Behringer Stratocaster; Webstrings Memphis Electric Xlight strings; Dunlop Picks

2) Ibanez TCY-10 Talman Series; Elixir Light strings.
