Live Stone

Hi:

My first experience on a forum of music. Have been a professional drummer for about 40 years or so around the New Orleans area. Done studio work and Jazz fest a couple of years. A few years ago I wanted to do something different so I took up the guitar and bass. I am a flatpicker mostly into lead and I like to strum. I am retired from the Fire Department and am probably the oldest member on this forum. I find this site to have a lot of class and talent in it's teachers. Some of the best I've heard and I have played with some knocked out musicians. Looking forward to learning all I can.

Best wishes

Live Stone

That's a very diplomatic way of putting it! Nice one!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
