new to the site - Hi to all

Hi all
just found this site, and settling in after having a good look around.
I like what I see Kirk, Thanks

I have been playing for about 18 months - can do basic chord changes and a few simple songs like "Wish you were here" - "knocking on heavens door" "Wonderwall" etc and a quiet a few licks and stuff.

Love the "Flamenco style" samples on the site - having fun with those - boy are those flamenco players quick or what?

My favourite kind of music is rock guitar - 70's style - love pink floyd especially. Also love Clapton, and much else of that genre - particularly good guitar anthems and solo's.

Nice to meet you all

Pete

Howdy Fretdancer. Sounds like you enjoy a wide range of music. Lots to choose from here. Once you have been here for a while, you might want to consider buying Kirks' Plane Talk book and DVD. It sure took me to the next level and is great for when you want to get into jamming and improv.

Hi fretdancer ... I can't imagine why you can't get to the site, other than a block on the IP by your provider for some reason. What do you get when you go there?

It just eventually times out and comes up with an error page on explorer saying:

The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

Cannot find server or DNS Error
Internet Explorer

not sure whats wrong - not had problems getting to any other site

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
