I've been playing guitar for only 6 years, I was a 'late starter' but you've got to start somewhere.
Over the last year I've really started to work some
slide playing in to my bag so I was looking for a place with fellow 'sliders'. 8)
One of my favorite things about playing slide, is the number of different items you can use. It's a world of tone out there waiting to be discovered!
I guess my biggest influence is Duane, we've been working on some Allman Brothers songs for my band and I just love the tone he gets. Good stuff.
