hey guy's & girls

Hey, i'm new to the guitar never of guessed it huh?

Well right i've been playing guitar on & off for about a year & recently i have been growing fonder & fonder & tried writting my own stuff, on bass aswell. I have realised i'm not so good & need to find more knowledge abotu what i'm doing & there's not many better places to look then the internet. I was trying to play at a party drunk on a mini guitar with out a pleck. A couple of people were really good on it but they had been playing for years.

Anyway i've bored you enought for today

Hello serioussam

Welcome to GFB&B! You've certainly come to the right place if your keen on learning the guitar. May I suggest, to set you off on the right track you should check this out: Brand new to playing the guitar?...read this first.

That will get you off on the right foot (in a manner of speaking)

All the best! See ya round the forums mate.

I really liked the band Fear Factory & signed up to there forum but it was full of internet geeks with pent up agression hiding behind there computers trying to insult people. So i just left the forums straight away i was quite disapointed but this forum seems like a keeper

You may be accustomed to moderators being power hungry on other forums (I know I've encountered that too) BUT on this forum you'll find the mods to be quite helpful and friendly and not in the least interested in letting their position as mods go to their heads.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
