Ello.

Hey mates. I'm just another beginner. I've wanted to learn to play guitar for a long time, but never really thought about realizing that dream 'till now.

I don't know much about guitars, so I wanted to seek advice of people who know what it feels like to be clueless. "What the hell is a floating bridge? A Ford Rose? Why is this so confusing?!"

Thanks for having me,
Ballard

Welcome aboard, Ballard!

You might wanna throw your question in the "Guitar Gear" forum too so you can have a better chance of the right people seeing it. And I think the term you were looking for there was a "Floyd Rose".

I dunno that much about 'em so I'll leave it to the experts to enlighten you.

Edit: Oops, just realised you may have meant it as an example question. My bad if that was your meaning.

Thanks, I did just that.

Actually, I do know what a Floyd Rose is. I put quotes around that to show that it was just an impression of a confused beginner. However, I am clueless when it comes to most things guitar.

Edit: Teeehee, sniped. Yeah, I did mean it as that. No problem.
