hello

This is my 4th attempt at playing the guitar and I'm sticking with it! I'm left handed teaching myself to play right handed on my brother in law's Mexican version Fender Strat. (cheap but does the job) I've been at it for about 6 weeks playing everyday for 30-45 minutes and love it. I look for to reading all your posts and getting advice on the "axe."

Oh BTW Simple MAn by Skynard, the picking is not easy....

Take care

Kevin

Welcome Kevin, if you kept on trying eventually you'll get it (that's what I keep telling myself anyway)

Hello Kevin

Welcome aboard mate!
Simple Man might be difficult, but once you get it down, you'll be a "happy chappy!"

HEy Kev, enjoy the forum... Remember to change the strings the right way up for yourself... Simple man is much harder if you have the guitar upside down

For tabs, just turn your monitor upside down

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
