G'day from me

Hi all
I've been lurking around here for long enough and enjoying Kirk's great fingerstyle lessons (Big Thanks to Kirk )

I've met a couple of you nice folks on other forums but there are many more of you I've bever met, so I thought I better introduce myself.
Name's Peter, married to a beautiful wife (aren't they all ), 5 kids (all left home ), 3 guitars and one keyboard. I've been playing for just over a year and lately trying my hand at songwriting. Mainly just lyrics at this stage as my musical knowledge is still lagging behind my writing skills, not to mention my singing voice which is just lagging, or is that lacking?

Anyhow, G'day from me and from what I've read around the forums you all seem like a nice friendly helpful bunch of folks. I look forward to getting to know y'all.

Cheers

Peter

737blues - *Ahem* (clears throat in an obvious, hint dropping, feeling left out fashion )

Peter, welcome aboard.

Theres a lot to be learnt here. I spend every free minute here reading through lessons and going over some of the exercises/lessons.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
