New new new!

I registered to this site a couple days ago and looked around the lessons to try to get a feel for it and stuff and I guess I'll be sticking around!

I've been learning guitar since about November/December last year. Practically everything that I know, I've taken from online lessons here and there. My guitar sucks quite a lot...it's a classical guitar my dad received as a gift some 30 years ago and it's chipped and a little cracked at the bottom but still sounds all right, I guess. I'm not interested in learning to play classical guitar so basically, I use it as a normal acoustic. I want to get an electric but I have yet to convince my parents to let me buy it so that's a whole other story. I practice a whole lot as I am homeschooled so that gives me loads of free time, which I spend on the guitar. On the other hand, as I have no teacher or anything, at times, I get completely lost with no idea where to go and so hopefully this site will be able to provide me with some much needed guidance!

Anyway, all in all, hi!

How many llamas does it take to circumnavigate the globe?

Answer that one.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
