Hi! I'm really glad I found this place!
Hello out there!
I'm Bri, and I cannot wait until I learn to properly play my guitar.
A little bit about me and what I wanna do and why...
Well I'm very experienced in writing and singing, but have never picked up an instrument and learned to play. I decided that if I was going to write songs that were good and diverse I had better learn an instrument, so guitar is the way to go for me! I was tired of relying on other's for music, so hopefully I'll be able to create my own soon!
Well that's a basic summary of me, so thanks for listening!

Bri, welcome to the forum.
If you stick with a rigid training session each day and do everything Kirk, 6string, UGB, AT, Clancy, etc etc. tells you you are well on your way to making your own music.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
