newbie....better late than never?

ok so i should have done this a few weeks ago, before i started posting.....i always do things the hard way and backwards i guess...

ok so HI, im goldengirl better known as gg...i dont actually play the guitar, but my boyfriend does and he is obsessed, so i better learn some things about it. Actually my family is fairly musical, i have been playing paino since i was around 8,played organ in church at 13,a set of pearls that i mess with everyonce in awhile, i have been singing in groups and choirs since i was 10. i enjoy and can appreciate all types of music. my son is 17 started out playing clarinet in jr high, the went on to sax, tenor sax, alto sax, tuba, a lil trumpet, but now he is all about the percussion...my 13 yr old is dying to take up guitar..and my sweetie USGold is the guitar player....

the members here are much like a family, everyone seems very nice. i look forward to meeting more of the group

gg

Welcome GG

Perhaps we'll hear a piano/guitar duet in the future?

GG...it is great to have you here. I know USGold appreciates that you have taken the time to learn about something that means so much to him. I too am ready to hear a piano/guitar duet soon. Make it something southern though...LOL.

Hi goldengirl and welcome! Nice to have you join in.

I guess we have a few things in common already. We're both redheads, we both don't play guitar and both have better halves (hehe) that are obsessed with guitars... sounds like we're going to get along just fine.

Nice to have you here.

Clancy

Hi gg

Great that you've joined the forum.........welcome. Scott is very lucky to have you take such an interest in his guitaring. I second, third.....whatever (sorry, have lost count) those who have already stated that they can't wait for a recording of you all together.

Hope you're together soon.

Take care
Tracy
