Howdy

I just started playing about 2 months ago. I had no idea it was this difficult. But I
have found a lot of help and info on the web. Which brings me here. I just received
Plane Talk and it has helped considerably. So now it's practice, practice, practice.
I'm also new to using forums so bear with me while I hunt and peck.

Hi there Mrhev

Welcome to the forum. Haven't been playing long myself (only a couple of weeks actually but loving it).

Kirk's book is supposed to be the business but I thought it was for more advanced players. Perhaps not if you're finding it useful. Must look into that........could do with all the help I can get.

Welcome. Buying P.T. after only playing for two months is going to be a bit of a challenge for you. Usually we advice new players to wait till they are fairly comfortable on the guitar first. Don't let that stop you though. Join the P.T. forum and read the posts, do the lessons and ask as many questions as you need to. We will help as much as we can. Same advice for this forum. we're all here to help each other so ask.

  Welcome

Thanks to all for a warm welcome. I'll probably be checking out the lessons. Still just trying to change chords smoothly, but it's getting better with each practice. Thanks
again.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
