Ahh finally a good guitar community!
lol hey all im a new comer to the site and forums here. My name is David Bennett and im from the boring state of Virginia. I was out in search of a good place to hear great music and be heard as well. Im a novice guitarist playing on the only thing i really own which is my Fender Bullet and my 150w Kustum Amp with Tremolo and Reverb. Nothing special but it is all i need.
I first started playing 3 years ago when my parents got divorced. I was full of anger and emotion's and i didnt know what to do with it all so i picked up my best friends acoustic and never put the guitar down since. I've never had lessons, i don't know how to read music and I think i mostly play by ear. lol if that makes any sense. Music is my passion and I try to sorround myself with as much as it as I can. From the deep ganga induced vibers of raggae to the smooth and silky blues. I get down with some punk and classic rock styles as well. Im crossing my finger's I get into Full Sail in Florida for Music Production and Recording Arts. Still saving up for it...lol I was in the Army for 2 1/2 year's serving as an 11b Airborne Infantry Recruit. Got out and they decided not to give me my full GI bill for some reason..lol GO figure. Anyways great to meet all of you and I look forward to hearing and making some music/jam sessions with you. Peace!!!

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
