Hi everyone
My name is Alan and I'm what I suppose what you'd call a student of guitar. I've played for many years and can hold my own playing many styles of music. Lately I've immersed myself in the general study of theory and it's application to the instrument. I find modes fascinating as hell. My hobby, besides playing that is, is finding great players nobody has ever heard of on Youtube and the like and then downloading the vids to study (and share) later.

Hi there Alan. I agree about Rory Gallagher, amazing. Eric Roche is another great Irish guitarist that more people should know.
