  Hello

Just to say hello to everyone. Playing guitar for 2 years and have Squier strat from early 80's, made in japan, Ibanez ARC-300, and just got Norman B-20-12.

Hi, welcome buddy!

Is that a JV strat you're talking about? These are awesome! I think they are better then the american standard fenders they make today.

Hey Mushroony,

I don't think that is guitar you are talking about (even this sounds really nice). It is Squier by Fender, Made in Japan, Ser#E738510. Maybe you can tell me more about guitar as I got it second hand.

I should know what squier model it is befor i can get you any info, but according to me that is a Japanese E Series.
These are not bad at all. Not as good as the JV though, lets say Fender MIM - quality.
I know that E-series with serial numbers = E + 6 digits are Squiers made in Japan between 84 and 86. More i cannot tell you.
This could be right, considdering that that pickguard is the original one, and the pickups has been replaced (as they are more white than the pickguard?)
