Hello from Canada
Hi There
Took me a bit to figure out how to post. New to the guitar and the forum. Only been playing since the middle of January. Taking lessons but sometimes feel frustrated, after reading some of the post I see this is normal. Thought I would join for the encouragement and to talk to other guitar newbies and some advanced players.

Hello macgoo..
As you said it is normal to get a bit frustrated at the beginning. You shouldn't give up though.Try and do your best and results will come in time.Be patient and give it time. All things start from zero and as you advance, new horizons will open up before you and new challenges will be expecting you. So,where there is a challenge, you will have to try to be up to it.That's the only way you will be able to improve. So relax, take pleasure in your guitar, try hard an just wait and see,it will all come to you...
Good luck there.Allways enjoy what you are doing. All the best...

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
Buy it now for only $10 |
