Hi everyone!

I am 2 days into teaching myself the guitar!
So far i have bought a book with pictures of cords, a chord songbook with 80 "classic songs from the last 25 years" and signed up to this wonderful site.
I dont play any other instraments or read music. Total beginner here at the age of 28!

I have a second hand acoustic (Yamaha with steel strings) sitting next to me which i think is going to keep me entertained for a fair while. Looking forward to soaking up all the info round this place!

Welcome Your Yamaha should do just fine. There's one I bought 30 years ago that taught me, my brother and his four daughters over the years.
