Howdy Howdy

I am a crazy wannabe guitar player living in Louisiana but from Utah. I fly helicopters in the Gulf of Mexico. I have had an Ibanez acoustic/electric for about 5 yrs and just bought me an Ibanez electric hardbody guitar. I haven't played much the last three yrs because of life(). But that is being fixed right now. I am looking forward to learning a lot from this web sight and if anyone has tips on increasing speed and getting some rhythm let me know.
I love guitars and love to learn so feed me please! Any info is great!
Thanks for the great website and all of your insight!

Welcome genki. Probably the best way to increase speed is to play a scale or passage at a slow tempo and using a metronome. When you can play the passage comfortably and mistake free at a certain speed, increase the metronome by 5 bpm and try again. While this can be frustrating it is a very effective method of increasing your technique and speed.
