Another Old Guy from Texas

Hello everyone; I stumbled on this site just now and have read some of the posts and this seems like a great place. I have been strumming the guitar for 30 tears and never learned scales or any kind of lead. I have never been able to hold a pick through a whole song so I use my thumb and index finger. I play guitar (mostly country), pedal bass and have an electric drummer and pretty good vocals. I get by with playing gigs every now and then but would like very much to learn finger picking the way it should be. I played in a duo in the 80's and my partner handeled the intro's and leads.
Sorry for the long intro, Hello everyone.

I will have to figure out how to get some tunes on this forum but I need to read the posting rules for tunes.
Thanks for the reply

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
