Hi from New Jersey
I've been playing music just about all my life. My first instrument was the Piano Accordion. I learned to read music and played it from age 4 till I got in high school. Along the way I also was in the school band as a 3rd chair fill in, playing every instrument in the band. Along the way I picked up an Fender Jaguar and a Fender twin reverb. I ended up selling those because cash was in short supply, and picked up a used Kay Jazz acoustic. I had been playing that for years now but I kinda laxed off until this December I got an Epiphone SG special for Christmas. I had a bad accident 8 years ago and my left hand ring finger was mangled pretty bad so it's a challenge to play some bar chords but I'm enjoying that SG so much my finger doesn't seem to bother me as much.
