A lot of those play in 60 minutes programs are a scam. Not to say they can't have valuable info in them. I bought one out of curiosity to find out that it was just a quick way of learning all the note names on the neck. It was ridiculous for them to say that was enough to be able to jam over any tune you heard or completely understand the inner workings of music without a huge amount of learned music theory to go with it.
Which two fingers are damaged? You will be able to find ways around that. Players have been known to play very well even after the loss of a couple of fingers. I met a blues man once who used just his thumb in his band.

Hi there. welcome !!! Its a pleasure to have you here with us

As allthumbs has said please dont go in for such products or methods. They are only a false advertisement and are utterly useless. I've too tried many of them over the last few months and only to find my stupidity

Guitar playing is like growing a tree, you cant just by a ready-to-grow pack, that you put it in the ground and there it is a beautiful fully grown tree within 60 minutes !!!! I have learnt over the time that its like buying a seed, sowing it, taking care and nurture it tenderly and over the course of time , you have a beautiful tree with blossoms , that you are attached to and are proud of. Take it easily and enjoy every momnt of it !!!

If these could work, every rich-man would have been great guitarist..hope you got my point and all the best !!! there's nothing more satisfying than getting slowly and seeing success for yourself ! no probs with the fingers, you should prove that you are a fighter and you already are one, cause you have cultured a desire to play and have the will to succeed!!!

No one can master every aspect of guitar playing, they just get better everyday.

It is my middle and ring finger. Hmmm. You will have to just see how it goes. If your index finger gives you problems,it is pretty simple to play basic chords at the nut with your middle, ring and baby finger instead. Don't worry too much about doing full bar chords. You will notice that Kirk rarely does them in his lessons.
You may want to look at developing your style using bits of chords or chord fragments.
You can also specialize in slide playing which uses less finger involvement.
Another option, though we don't practice it here is open tunings. You could play like Richie Havens, basicly a single finger bar to play chords with.
For now just go through the basic lessons, build up your finger strength and flexibility and see how it goes. Let us know how your doing and ask questions if you get stuck.
