Hi, my name is James and I have owned a guitar for a while now but am just starting to get serious about learning to play it, I am also wanting to learn about the
slide guitar because I love those "liquid lines". My favorite musician is, by far, David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. I am a fan of all of Pink Floyd's music as well as his solo work. The best concert I have ever been to was when David played Chicago, April 2006. I flew up there and paid a fortune for the ticket but it was worth every penney!!! Other hobbies of mine are motorcycles and planes, I have had my private pilot certificate for about eight years now and I enjoy flying around and taking short trips when my finances permitt. I am glad i came accross this site, it has alot of great information and seems like it will be a great tool in the development of my guitar playing ability.
