Hi from UK

Hi everyone, I found this site last Friday and I love the recording studio area where you can listen to others.

Quick bit about me, 34 years old and my wife gave me my first guitar this Christmas and have just started to get to grips with it. Today I mastered a 'Blues Progression' and I actually kept up with a backing track on a CD - might be a small step but was I very happy. Fingers tips ache like they are on fire.

I just love the challenge of learning something new, my main hobby used to be flying and I was a flying instructor until I temporary lost my medical due to cancer treatment 9 months ago (all clear now). Without flying I have a lot of spare time now, and learning the guitar is filling this spare time nicely right now.

I haven't played a musical instrument since I was 11 years old and I wish I carried on - playing a instrument is great fun. Glad to be able to join you fellow guitarists

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
