Hello
Hi everyone,
I have been playing for just over a year. I inherited some beautiful guitars from my grandfather and finally decided to learn to play so I took lessons for about 9 months and I am now continuing on my own. I am currently going through Mark Hansons book on Travis Picking so I can play songs I enjoy singing to as well. I also enjoy chord work and singing with some simple Beatles tunes with the use of Hal Leonard's Easy Beatles song book.
My biggest challenge remains my ability to change chords smoothly and fast enough to stay in rhythm. For fun, I am learning Dust in the Wind, a good fingerpicking song for Travis Picking.
Tough going, but I'll stay with it.
