Another Newbie
So I just stumbled across this site today and am very interested in not only finding answers to questions I already have but finding some new ones as well.
Just some background info. I am a self taught bass player, been doing that for around 12 years now. I have always learned things by ear first and experimentation second. I know just enough theory to stumble around with some success. I play in a classic/blues rock band and our website is in my profile if you're interested. Not a plug but just some background info on me.
I bought my first acoustic just shy of two years ago. Found lots of tab on the net and learned things from what I heard and what I read. A friend turned me on John Prine's music and I have spent most of my time on the fingerpicking style.
