Hello from South Korea!

Hello! I wanted to introduce myself. I am an American living in South Korea and I joined a while back but have recently just gotten the opportunity to really look around. Wow! Incredible site and much thanks to Kirk Lorange for such a genuis of a website and his generosity is incredible!!! I look forward to learning new tecnique and purchasing lessons.

I learned some chords many years ago but had a difficult time with strumming. This was pre internet days and so I put my guitar down and never played. But even after oh so many years I still remembered those chords and recently the strumming thing kind of hit me on the side of the head and I realized that I CAN do this. I went on a trip to the Philippines two months ago and purchased a guitar since I wanted to see if I really would stick to playing guitar. I am itching to upgrade but am waiting for the right time.

This site is so great because it focus on various types of music and not just one type which unfortunately limits the clientells. I see so many things that I want to learn here!

Is it okay to post a link to youtube to show my videos? I wanna ask first...

I am so happy to be here!!!

Welcome merewisp! We're happy to have you here!
I think you have several posts before you can actually post a link, but it won't take long. Looking forward to hearing you play

Okey Doke...

Please go easy on me cuz when I did these vids i only was playing the guitar for about a month. I know there are quite a few mistakes in my playing-and my singing isn't the best.

Gentle critique welcome! I need all the help I can get!
