Hi there !
Hi all, I just started playing guitar a few days ago. Im 23 maybe a lil old to start learning, or thats what Im told. I allways wanted to play since I was a kid, but I never really got the chance or had time. Before I knew it I grew up and I was told that its to late to start learning so it trew me off and i never made time for it, untill now. I figured I'll give it a shot and prove some ppl wrong if i dont im really gonna regret it and the older I get the harder it gets and the less time I have. So I went to a music store got me a guitar. Then I looked for a place to learn online and this place looked great. So here I am. I hope I can get learn enough here with all your help and Ill try to give it as much time as I can.

Welcome D3choo,
Don't worry about your age. We have many beginners in their 40's, 50's, 60's and even 70's. It's all about practice practice practice.
Glad you didn't listen to your friends.
Enjoy!

Hello and welcome. I'm one of the ones they told you about starting a lot later in life than you are. Keep at it and best of luck.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
