Hi all,

This looks like a great forum. The minute I came across, I had to join it.

I've been playing the guitar for 12 years now and all this time I deticated on learning how to fingerpick. I can strum as well, but it is not my forte.

I own a spanish classical guitar - it's the only model I really like. I've tried a lot: country western guitars, steel strings in general, electric, etc. but spanish seems to suit me best.

I hope to catch some new refreshing ideas on this site, 'cause right now, I'm a little out of inspiration. Every couple of years I came upon a threshhold and had to work really hard to reach the next "level". I think this will be a neverending story, I still learn each time I pick up my 6 string.

Hello geitenvla and welcome to the forum. You came to the right place not just for inspiration, but a great community of folks here - and fingerpicking is particularly strong ... see the lessons. Looking forward to hearing some of your playing too!

I'm also new here. This is the first site I saw and I knew that I had to join immediatly. It really feels like we can get a lot of support, encouragement and inspiration from these folks...So I just wanted to say a broad THANKYOU in advance.

Howdy! Yeah, the plateaus, they will come--and go! Welcome !

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
