New to you...
Hey there, i'm just beginning to play around with my guitar and thought jumping on here would keep me focused and disciplined. I look forward to chatting with some of you. My dearest friend died of cancer 3 years ago and he was the one who challenged me to always do something for myself. Knowing i wanted to learn piano and guitar, he would call me weekly and hound me.... then he took up guitar lessons and learned before he passed. I need to stop waiting for the time to do it and just jump in, so between work, being a wife, and mother of three... here i go! looking forward to the journey

Welc me Marla!
Very sorry to read about your friend. But glad to see that you are following on with your friends inspiration to take up the guitar.
I wish you all the best with your endeavours!

Hi there Marla Dee welcome .
I saw a werewolf drinking a pina colada at Trader Vic's,
And his hair was perfect.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule
Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!
