The only advice I can offer is to stick with it. In the beginning it's more work then fun, but that will turn around in time.

(((hugs))) to you Emma, I just want you to stick with it! Imagine how dang good you'll be if you do, when you are MY age (almost a half century! and hush, don't you be telling anyone...!) You just keep at it, and suddenly one day there will be a 'click' and you won't have to think about it quite as much, the same as how you learned to speak, and walk, and type, and drive a car (ok at 16 you probably don't know how to do that yet!) but it is something you will always be proud of knowing, something that sets you apart from the rest of your friends, and it might even open doors for you tha tyou didn't know existed! So learn, girl, get damn good at it....do it for the old ladies (others, NOT me...LOL) who wish they'd had the chance you do.

Ok, I'm stepping down now............NEXT!

Oh, and welcome, Emma!

Elle

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
