I guess I'm kinda thick or this isn't a very user friendly site. How do I get to the free lessons.

Hi bill1958. Welcome.

Look at the top of the page at the orange sit title. Right under the word 'Beginners' is the link you're after.

Have fun!

Welcome, Bill, I hope that will be your biggest problem. Good Luck.

Hi Bill1958 welcome to the forum hope you're enjoying the free lessons, when I signed up I messed up the introduce yourself bit and jumped in on someone elses so I wouldn't worry too much about having trouble finding the lessons, I didn't get any grief though people are pretty forgiving round here.

The GfB&B Guitar Slide Rule

Download the PDF of the 'Guitar Chord Slide Rule', print it out, fold it together and you'll have at your disposal a very neat tool that will not only show you all the positions for the main flavors of chords, but will also teach you a very important lesson about how the guitar works... It consists of a folded sleeve and six double sided inserts, instructions for cutting it out and folding it together are included with the PDF ... it's very simple to do, and if you botch it, you can simply print it out again!

Buy it now for only $10
