  Hello

Greeting to all.
I've been a member for about a week, I think, and realized I hadn't posted an introduction.
My name is Mike and I'm from the U.S., Cincinnati to more precise. I bought my first guitar this past x-mas so I guess it coming up on the first anniversary
I probably have 20 or 30 sites bookmarked but I keep returning to this site more than any other and I'm now in the process of weeding some of the others out now. I like the culture Kirk and the senior members are fostering here and the people it seems to be attracting.
I also like the different options you have here. My goal is to post a file with me playing the current lesson, Kiss me ..., or what not, as soon as I can play it through by memory only. I also intend to get the book Kirk offers within the next few month. I do want to understand and enjoy music more than just playing tabs. This seems like a great place to get a rounded introduction to the guitar. Well off to toughen the finger tips.
All the best
Mike
